Simplify. 7 Guiding Principles to Help Anyone Declutter Their Home and Life
Since choosing to simplify his life two years ago, Joshua has encouraged hundreds of thousands of others around the world to pursue minimalism in their lives through his blog: www.becomingminimalist.com. As one of today’s leading proponents of “rational minimalism,” he presents 7 principles that will help guide anyone into a practice of simplicity that works for their unique, individual lifestyle.
Simplify is a compilation of the lessons we have learned over the past two years of pursuing simplicity. We have worked hard to ensure this e-book is a valuable resource for anyone who desires to remove clutter from their home and life. We are confident that you will benefit from it.
Some of the topics and principles covered in the book will help you:

- Learn to recognize clutter and remove it from your home.
- Create a plan for decluttering every room in your home.
- Stop the trend of consumerism in your life.
- Develop a spending plan.
- Develop a plan to keep your home free of clutter.
- Apply principles of simplicity to other areas of your life including time management, speech, and television.

Hey, I love you blog and I have been reading it for the pst several months. I was wondering, would you guys mind expanding your feed subscription options to include email besides just RSS? It would be so much easier if I got an email everytime there was a new post published instead of having to check back here now and then. A good, free service for this is feedburner.
Thanks.

I’ve loved reading your blog, and I’m so excited to start reading this new book (just purchased it, yay!! And the kids are at school, so no interruptions!) but am making myself wait until I drop off some no-longer-needed clothing, books, and furniture to my local Goodwill first. I just got my youngest on board with minimalism when he finally realized that if he had less “stuff”, then he wouldn’t have to waste his Saturdays dusting/cleaning it all and putting it away. You could actually see the LED go off when it clicked – so funny!

Thanks for letting me peak at Chapter 1. [I’ve minimalised my Mac so much that, by choice, I don’t use Flash any more so I couldn’t read it online :-) The process required to be able to download it as a .pdf has put me off scribd.com for life though.]
