The simplicity/minimalism niche is among the most friendly, encouraging, and helpful communities you will ever find. There is a genuine understanding that any promotion of simplicity is good for society—and there is little concern about who gets the credit for it.
It is a pleasure to be part of such a wonderful group of people. And I enjoy every opportunity to promote writing that encourages people to live more by owning less. So fix yourself a nice warm cup of coffee or tea. Find a quiet moment this weekend. And enjoy some encouraging words about finding more simplicity in your life today.

religious Idols – people flinch the fortunate feast of diwali by worshipping female divinity Lakshmi ji and superior ganesha, hence their idols make a perfect diwali offering for your loved ones. You can peck your election from different varieties such as clay idols, crystal idols, made of wood idols, marble idols and metal idols such as brass, of silver and gold plated idols.

Awesome YouTube video! Loved the concept, thanks for the link. Question, did you actually take the picture of the cup of coffee in this post? It’s a coffee shop where I live! I was very surprised to see the logo on the door.

I love these weekend reads.
A couple months ago I started a “Gratitude Monday” post on my own blog, where I make a short post about something I am feeling particularly grateful for, every Monday. It’s a small thing, but I feel like it’s really helped me just to be more mindful all week long of simple gratitude in general. This has been a surprising side benefit of one little change in habit.

Joshua,
I especially love the reminder of how effective people use their weekends to rest and recharge. It’s alarming to see that a third of us feel compelled to work on the weekends.

I got so caught up in the BootsnAll article and ideas for RTW trips (which I can do, now that I’m not tied down by “stuff”), I almost forgot about the others. Thanks for the list – great reading!

Thank you for posting weekend reads!! It’s the only thing to show up in my reader on Saturday mornings when I actually have time to read and all the other blogs are “off” for the weekend. It’s always a pleasure to see it!

I participate in a few social, professional, & athletic communities, & you’re right. The minimalist circle is by far the most welcoming, chill, & no drama of them all. I never cringe as I read comments or posts, & the blogs are not angry or combative. It’s refreshing to say the least.
