I follow you and subscribe to your publication. I am almost where I want to be as far as being a minimalist I have a question how many pictures do you keep and how do you decide which pictures you keep I have bins of pictures.

Thank you for these ‘weekend reads’ blog posts. I am in Australia and they appear in my email in box on a Sunday morning. Perfect timing for me to relax and read.

I am working towards a simpler life but I need tips for getting down to the nitty gritty of my belongings. Most of what’s left is stuff I really want but it’s still too much and I know it. I’d like to see more about “advanced” decluttering :)
Also, would love to see the environmental benefits of minimalism promoted more. Minimalism = happier people + healthier planet!

Hello Joshua. I have been reading your posts for a few months and am still opening and thinking about them.
I used to teach English Literature so I have learned to be a ‘resistant’ reader; I notice not just what a person says but also how it is said. While I recognise how you show up with posts regularly, I sense there is a lot of clutter in the number of posts you share … multiples of messages about the same thing.
Perhaps the spirit of minimalism applies also to busy talk: quiet space for living more thoughtfully without distraction of sifting through clutter?
Only thinking aloud as I process what is good in all that I love about an internet of ideas and sharing good things.
Bless you in all you love and care about.

I love that quote, it is exactly why I keep showing up here!
Sometimes I don’t look at this website for weeks on end end then I’m suddenly back again. I find that frequent repetition very helpful to draw me back to thinking about what I really value and ‘realign’ myself.

I agree. I can get into good habits for a while, if I stop just for a day I’m afraid that’s me finished. Need more consistency.

Thank you, as always, Joshua. :)
