For the last eight years, I have been compiling and publishing curated articles that inspire simplicity. At first, it was an exercise in communicating to Becoming Minimalist readers the most popular articles I sent out on Twitter.
But over the years, it has become more than that. It has become a place where people (every other week) come for a dose of inspiration. And it has become a place to promote and encourage writers around the world who are publishing content about minimalism, simplicity, and intentional living.
I think you will enjoy this collection of articles hand-selected for you this weekend. Grab some coffee, tea, or lemonade and be inspired to live a simpler life today.

The LA Times article is filled with great ideas. We have a buy something, donate something rule in our house and my 2022 goal is to clean out a single drawer/shelf each week. Much less daunting for me that way.

Thank you for this weekend reads, Joshua. Trina Paul article on Want to Spend Less Money this Year? Try a Minimalist Low-Buy or No-Buy Period, is so inspiring. No-Buy Period is a challenge and has already started for me since this winter. Just hoping this is an on going effort until next year.

There is hopelessly no where I could get a free access to the LA times. Is it the charged subscription service and has fees for long distance and takes extremely a long time to get back ? I have already sent out a formally expressed complain to this vendor and no surprise still not hear from them. Joshua, can you please help me get the access ? I am enjoying most of your inspiring week reading . And LA Times is the one I could not find.

I can’t, sorry about that. I’m not associated with the LA Times (other than I sat down for this interview with them). I didn’t have any problem accessing the article and I know they provide a number of free articles per month for readers. To be fair, I wouldn’t post a link that bypasses their subscription process anyway – even if I had one.

This does help, thank you for responding.
