Minimalism is the intentional promotion of the things we most value and the removal of anything that distracts us from it. It requires a conscious decision because it is a countercultural lifestyle that stands against the culture of overconsumption that surrounds us.
The world we live in is not friendly to the pursuit of minimalism. Its tendencies and relentless advertising campaigns call us to acquire more, better, faster, and newer. The journey of finding simplicity requires consistent inspiration.
For that reason, I hope you will make an effort this weekend to find a quiet moment with a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy some of these hand-picked articles to encourage more simplicity in your life.
I Gave Up My Credit Card for a Month — And Learned a Lot About My Spending Habits | NBC News by Emily Pandise. The way some people can’t resist trying the latest workout craze, trendy fashions or exotic superfoods, I can’t find enough ways to challenge myself to be better at budgeting.
15 Ways Life Is Easier For Minimalists | Break the Twitch YouTube (3:16) by Anthony Ongaro. While minimalism looks different for everyone, there are some small details that really add up when you choose to live with less.

Will you be offering this course again in the future?
I want to take it very much, I’m embarrassed to say I can’t afford it right now.

Thank you for coming to Lighthouse Church. What a powerful message, most inspiring to help us with our continued quest to live content in all things. Planning on getting seven copies of “The More of Less” (one for us and each of our six adult kids!). You know…just planting some seeds!

Hi Joshua,
I have your audio version of The More of Less and enjoyed it greatly. Would it be possible to get the coupon code for the Uncluttered course?
Also, do you think the course is suitable for someone well into their minimalist journey? I have decluttered quite a bit already but am not quite where I want to be.
Thanks for you do and share, it’s very inspiring!

I’m interested in the 12 week online workshop that you’re promoting however, I’d like to know the advantage of signing up for the course relative to what I can read in your published materials.
What is the advantage of signing up?

Loved the video! It all really is so simple isn’t it? Why do we make it complicated? Thanks for the reminder.

I heard it said once that we are 10% of the wold’s population using 90% of the world’s resources. Something wrong with that equation? I have been doing this for over 25 years now. It is not easy with all we are surrounded by but there is much more happiness in finding out just how much we don’t need to be happy. Live simply so that others can simply live!
