One of the first bloggers to take an interest in my writing was Mandi Ehman. Shortly after I started this blog, Mandi emailed and offered me opportunity to guest post on her popular blog, Life Your Way. The post brought new readers. But more than that, receiving an email from a full-time blogger gave me confidence and inspiration to continue writing.
So when Mandi asked me to participate in her Genius Blogging Toolkit, I jumped at the chance.
Specifically, as part of the toolkit, I’ll be teaching a webinar called “Monetizing Your Blog Ethically.”
I have been blessed in many ways through this website and I enjoy opportunities to help others who are trying to blog better.
If you blog, you just might be interested in The Genius Blogging Toolkit they have compiled.

Oh my God! I missed this. Is there no way one can get it after the close of date? I started my blog, http://entrepreneurbusinessblog.com few months ago and would need this.

It’s coincidental as my goal is to start my own successful blog for next year and I run into the office saying I have six hours left to buy it. Talk about making an abrupt decision. I’m going through all this (not sure where to begin yet), but I hope it’s all worth it.

I’ve been reading this blog for a long time and really enjoy the posts and everyone’s comments but I’ve never added a comment. This time I’m prompted to because a deal that promises a 98% discount but you only have two days to take advantage of such an amazing deal sounds exactly like the high-pressure consumer tactics this blog claims its eschews and drives our misguided Western consumerist society. I’m, quite frankly, amazed!

I had the same feeling reading this post.

Sorry about that Robin. It’s part my fault/preference and part nature of the offer.
As to the nature of the offer, a bunch of bloggers got together to offer their individual projects in one bundle format for a limited time. While I wasn’t technically involved in any planning, I’m confident that most of them would not have agreed to contribute if there was an indefinite timeline. So there was always going to be some sort of deadline attached.
Concerning my fault, the offer has been available for over a week. I just found that my editorial calendar did not allow me to post it earlier. I have a recurring post (Inspiring Simplicity) every other weekend that people look forward to. Because of the timing, I had to wait until Monday morning and could only post the announcement 48 hours before the pre-determined deadline on the deal. Sorry about that.
But I do hope that helps explain a little bit why that happened.

Hello Joshua. Thanks for your reply and explanation. I really appreciate it. Like I said, I read your blog ALL the time. I look forward to the new posts and get a lot out of them and I’ll continue to do so. I couldn’t measure how much my life has changed for the better since discovering the online minimalist community. Thanks again!

I just wanted to say that this was the most respectful, mature, and eloquent “constructive criticism” and response I’ve seen online. Kudos to both of you.

Hello, I’d like to contribute to your blog. I’m not a blogger, but I have been practicing minimalism and simple living for a long tine. I have some tips I can share.

I was interested in signing up for the Master’s in Blogging level, but your link doesn’t work. :-(
joshua becker says
Hmm, sorry about that Teresa. I think the folks over at customerservice@ultimate-bundles.com will be able to help you with that.

I can simply do without the blog kit.

I got the kit and am already delving into its great resources. It has so much available that it can seem overwhelming for a brand new blogger such as me, but I’m simply tackling one thing at a time:)
