There’s more to life than buying stuff.
There are many wonderful people pursuing and promoting simplicity. Fortunately, some of them are gifted in communication and choose to encourage and inspire us with their words. I enjoy reading their unique perspective. I’m sure you will too.
So fix yourself a nice warm cup of coffee or tea on this beautiful weekend. Find a quiet moment. And enjoy some encouraging words about finding more simplicity in your life today.

I used to share blog posts on my blog. Not for a while. I suppose I’ll start it up again. Thanks Joshua.

I love your weekend reads, thank you. This morning I enjoyed them with my breakfast in bed, thanks to hubby looking after our two little ones in the lounge. I think Leo’s was my favourite article today, my mind is often racing and I could relate so much to the inability to focus on more thoughtful tasks when in Fast Mode. My hubby jokes that I walk around with too many ‘browsers open’. As a (mostly) stay at home mum of two under 5yolds, being busy is an easy trap to slip into. And a highly justifiable position should hubby complain he’s getting only the crumbs of my attention! But people must come first, a tidy and manageable home always second.
Now excuse me while I go fix up the house for a Christmas lunch catch-up with family today!!

we are moving right in the middle of the holidays and realizing we have way too many things. We are looking forward to purging and minimizing going forward in 2015!

Thank you for a perfectly timed resource. This is such a loaded time of year, with many “opportunities” to explore deeper questions of meaning, obligation and connection, and it’s not always comfortable or easy. Wishing everyone a peaceful holiday.
