Every time someone tells me, “I could never be a minimalist,” I think to myself, “But you are already.”
Because everybody is minimizing something.
If you’re not minimizing your possessions, you are minimizing your money, time, and potential.
Own less. Live more. Finding minimalism in a world of consumerism.

When my daughter moved back with us, she had at least seventeen boxes of stuff. Not counting her clothes. In a year, she got down to three boxes. She has a few pieces of furniture. She now has three bath towels because she gave all the stained and ripped ones to the animal shelter. She got rid of sheets that don’t fit her bed. She gave away old greeting cards. She donated boxes of books to the library for the annual sale. I am a firm believer in “the longest journey begins with a few steps”. Anyone can clean for five minutes a day.
Yes! I agree! The bookshelves, though full of treasures we use, are needing dusting, and all the furniture has to be moved to clean the floors. The appliances we use have to be cleaned and put away or cleaned and moved to clean under them. The scented lotions are enjoyed but overflowing, and the clothes must be washed and maintained. All good things, but too much is more of a stressor than a pleasure. I’m learning.
Love it. So true.
To the point.
Short but sweet and to the point! Thank you.
Love this! It’s so true! Minimizing my life is what has helped me to become my best self!

Love to read more about this!
I wonder why you don’t say it aloud, it could be thought provoking.
