Growing up as a kid my best memories were running around and playing outside. I had a few toys, but they weren’t what I spent most of my time on. It’s a shame kids these days are given smartphones before they can read. But fortunately we still have time to encourage kids to go out in the world again.
I just reappreciated the importance of removing stuff I didn’t need. My husband is dealing with a serious medical condition these days. I feel no trouble letting emergency personnel and friends come inside (it’s very tidy) to help him out.
There are lots of things we cannot control, but keeping my home the way I like is largely doable.
