It’s taken me years but I’ve finally learned to say no to things I don’t want to do. I love my small house with less stuff, the joy of someone saying how much they like an item in my house and I give it to them, daily walks that connect me with my neighbors, donating involved cookbooks and replacing with simple meals, reading. I think I’ve finally found my peace in this less than peaceful world.
