The simplicity/minimalism movement is a beautiful community. And I enjoy any opportunity to promote writing that encourages people to live more by owning less.
I invite you to fix yourself a nice warm cup of coffee, cocoa, or tea. Find a quiet moment this weekend. And enjoy some encouraging words to inspire more simplicity in your life today.

Hi, Joshua
I just watched your video about the 35 Gifts We Can Give Our Children That They Will Never Forget. That is a near-complete course in parenting. It’s focused on looking for and celebrating the positives in living, and appreciating all of it. You’ve articulated a great set of values.
Blessed Christmas.

I have discovered Minimalism at age 65 after having wasted most of my life’s earnings at the right place. As they say it is never too late. I spent a shopping-free Thanksgiving this year. I plan to continue the trend. Minimalism is not a destination – it is a daily act and I intend to continue with it.

It’s hard to admit that at 70 years I’m still learning. I read Joshua’s postings on a regular basis. I too think about all the money I’ve wasted over the years. I’m trying my best to keep clearing out stuff manly because I feel overwhelmed by it all. I see my friends getting older and surrounded by so much that some poor soul is going to have to clear out of their homes because they aren’t physically able to do so any longer. They waited too long. Start today to help clear your mind and be less of a burden to those you love.
