As many of you know, I’ve been recording videos about minimalism and living an intentional life for the last three years on YouTube. I’ve really enjoyed it.
The channel has grown significantly. We have 235,000 subscribers—and over 50,000 hours of Becoming Minimalist videos are watched every single month. Crazy.
I know that some of you enjoy watching our videos. But for the most part, it is an entirely new audience of people being introduced to the life-giving benefits of owning less.
I am thankful for our producer Gabriella who works so hard to make each video impactful. And I am grateful for my wife Kim who appears in most of them.
If you’re looking for some inspiration in your journey to own less, here are some great videos to check out.

I love your videos, although when I hear about “staging” a home for sale I am reminded of when my husband & I lived in San Francisco & the building was being sold. I was a horrific time for us as the new owners tried to evict us after living there for 14 years. Because of gentrification & greed they stripped us of our garage & storage unit, doing their best also to strip us of our joy and pride.
After we finally moved out (we also paid for two years of storage) they staged the units to sell them. It was deceitful because the building was not up to code & had lots of mold. That was all covered up & I feel for the buyers who were most likely duped.
Karma does work though in mysterious ways.
Joshua,
This is a great way for me to share your message with family members. Thank you for putting this together.
Keep up the great work!
You are welcome. And great idea.
Even though I wasn’t feeling good today I sat and watched hours of your videos. The one I’m watching now is about the negative comments! You both had such good attitudes about this.
I have learned so much from you, and cannot say enough good! The talking too fast is not too fast and you’re trying to take notes! LOL
Thank you again so very much❣️
Blessings, Betty
