Amazon has just selected Things That Matter: Overcoming Distraction to Pursue a More Meaningful Life as their Kindle Deal of Day.
And is offering the Kindle version for just $2.99 — today only.*
In fact, they have notified their customers about the price drop in a Kindle Goldbox Email Blast, which is the biggest merchandising vehicle Amazon has for eBook price drops.
$2.99 is the lowest price I’ve seen offered—so I also wanted to let you know right away.*
*Valid only for US-residents. The Kindle deal may be available in other geographic regions, but I was only notified of the US offer.
Today is a great day to get my book!
Special thanks to both Amazon and my publisher for making this discount happen.

Because of today’s special deal, I’ve also decided to re-open registration for Things That Matter Video Course that I created to accompany the release of the book back in April.
The Things That Matter Course is a six-week online course, hosted by me, to help you apply the principles of the book to your unique life. It includes videos, practical application challenges (daily, weekly, & monthly) and motivational emails to keep you focused on removing the distractions that keep us from our most meaningful life.
The course is not required to enjoy and be inspired by the book, but it’s a nice companion for just $7.
If you want extra inspiration to overcome the distractions in life that keep us from things that matter, this 6-week video course is designed to do just that.
Please note: You don’t need to buy the Kindle edition of the book to sign up for the course. If you previously purchased the book or prefer the audio/physical copy of the book, no problem. The course presupposes you have the book in-hand, but if you read it any time over the last 6 months, I’d love for you to join us.
You can sign up for the 6-week course today.
The deadline to sign-up for the course is Wednesday, October 26—and it will begin on Monday, October 31.

This book is also $2.99 on Barnes and Noble today for the NOOK Book.
I would like to make a comment that I don’t buy anything from Amazon because of the mass consumerism that it promotes and represents. Also because of its treatment of workers. And because of the priorities and ethics of spending by its owner. It has also crowded locally owned and small businesses out of the market. Most links for items that I come across in social media are to Amazon. I wish that people, that includes you, Josh Becker, would provide alternatives other than Amazon, when providing links to products. A fast search to other book websites would have shown that B & N was also providing this discount. Also, many times Amazon is the go to link, when the original company is also selling the product, and could be bought from the source, not from Amazon. There are alternatives to Amazon, and if this is important to you, I would ask you to consider them.

Thanks for the update Janice. The Barnes and Noble ebook version was not on sale when I published the post or sent the email. I checked. Sounds like they have updated their pricing since then. Thanks for letting me know.

$2.99 in Canada today as well. I currently have the hardcover taken out from the library but am going to grab the Kindle version for future reference.

Interesting that you teamed up with Amazon, the world’s biggest purveyor of crap, to ensure that the landfills and oceans stay filled to overflowing with last season’s garbage.
But all this is fine if it helps you sell and distribute your book and accompanying course.
THINGS THAT MATTER.
I guess to you the ends justify the means.
Nice to know. Where is integrity in all this?

Wow.

Thanks for the comment Catherine. I don’t own the rights to the book. My publisher does — they are the ones who teamed with Amazon for the discounted price on the ebook. I don’t mind being the one to tell my community that they can save some money if they buy it today. I don’t own the rights to the book.

I bought it last month and just bought the ,oh so reasonable, video course. Thank you so much! My accomplishments on the 12 week declutter course are stellar!!!!! Although I have not been doing the rooms the class has been
On each week, my priority rooms are getting clean organized AND with a lot LESS! ALSO when I go to the store I notice I am buying what I need and not pulled to graze on the million items offered.
I even learned , with my husband’s help, how to use a laser stud finder and drill holes and install brackets to hold stretchy tubes for exercises, physical therapy! BradandBob.com the most famous physical therapists on YouTube use these and my husband is getting stronger after being bedridden since 2020. Thank God!
These are minimal space savers with maximum muscle strength !!!
And I am not tripping over dumbbells or kettle bells. Those are going out in the garden by the weight benches🏋️♀️🏋🏻♂️
I have emergencies that take priority like a flood in the bathroom from a leaky bidet. I had been wanting to wash the floor so this happened fast😂 I took photos of the metal tubes and showed them to my husband and he told me how to tighten them with a wrench. That worked!!! Floor is clean!!!! Yesterday I went to the dollar tree and bought those white eraser sponges and a spray bottle to transfer my favorite citrasolv Valencia orange cleaner. The tops do not come off and the sprayers rarely work so I have about 20 full bottles. I am going to drill holes in them and transfer the liquid!!! I use only non toxic cleaners. I also use Dr bonners peppermint liquid soup and dilute it. Also baking soda and white vinegar. Thanks again Joshua! Bless you and your family!

Great book and attractive price for Kindle, but I much prefer the hard copy sitting on my bookshelf. Something about the physicality of a real book will always trump digital versions, despite their convenience and affordability. But kudos to you for offering readers options.
joshua becker says
I prefer physical copies of books when I read them too.

$2.99 in Australia as well. Thanks
joshua becker says
