So fix yourself a nice warm cup of coffee or tea on this beautiful weekend. Find a quiet moment. And enjoy some encouraging words about finding more simplicity in your life today.

I love these posts. They help to keep me on track with reducing our possessions. Just a quick suggestion. Others might like this too. Wondering if you can make your links open in another tab/window rather than taking us away from your blog. I like to just click on all the links and then read through them but I have to remember to right click and choose open in a new tab. Obviously that is not a big deal but it is an easy change also. Thank you again for all the inspiration you provide!

A FRESH of BREATH air!! Lol After clicking the little thumbs up for your site, I have been attacking each nook and cranny and junk drawer for the past month or so. I am very organized person in the main spaces of my home that people see when entering. I keep my clutter a “secret” lol in drawers, closets, computer room and lets just say clothes live on my bedroom floor lol. After reading your inspiring words on how to simplify in our lives, I went straight to work. No time for garage sales but heres a great tip for fellow readers… There are online garage sale sell/ buy sites in your local areas that you can release into the world your ” clutter treasures” and put the extra $ away for rainy days with the kids. I am freeing my life of my secret stashes of clutter and I Love the feeling of how in control of my space and time I am becoming. Thank you Thank you!!!

You wrote, “I don’t know, it just seems like we should stop buying stuff we don’t need.” I agree, but that doesn’t really account for the health care industry destroying our economy. Health care bills are the number one cause for bankruptcy. We’ll all need health care at some point. There’s no way around it. http://www.nerdwallet.com/blog/health/2014/03/26/medical-bankruptcy/

I enjoy your blog and am inspired by all the news feeds. I’m trying to minimize what we have but with 2 young kids, it always seems like such a struggle! I feel like I’m constantly purging but not shopping, if that makes any sense. It’s all the clutter! Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

I’m happy to help if you have any specific questions. But if you are looking for detailed help, we released a book earlier this year, Clutterfree with Kids, which is probably just what you are looking for.

Your writing is inspiring, I am trying to focus more on life than on things I thought will make my life happy. Clearing up some stuff which was not used has made my house look big and yes less things are easy to maintain.
Thank you

Great resources Joshua! Love Leo’s work and philosophy in particular.
It’s funny how often we *battle* our stress and the clutter of our lives, thinking that somehow fighting will lead to peace. I guess that’s been a mistake humans have been making since our inception.
Brewing a coffee now and looking forward to reading! It’s amazing how little we need to buy things, consume things, or force ourselves to do things we don’t want to do when we simply find a humble passion and train ourselves to love the little things – like reading posts on minimalism.
